Relatively quick places to eat and good if you are on your own....

• The Gallery - Fortnum & Mason – easy to pop in and grab a bite on your own if you want a bit more than just a sandwich – not cheap, but it’s good.
• The National Café – at the National Gallery – good easy to grab food by Oliver Peyton.
• The Royal Academy Restaurant – was good last time I ate there.
• The Royal Academy 'Friends' Room - fairly basic food wise, but is good for a quick break in between exhibitions.

TATE BRITAIN:

• Rex Whistler Restaurant at Tate Britain: a great restaurant with a good set menu. Children eat free at lunch time. Also great for Sunday Breakfast and Lunch – known for its wine cellar. www.tate.org.uk/britain/eatanddrink/restaurant.htm

TATE MODERN:

THE SAATCHI GALLERY: Gallery Mess at the Saatchi Gallery is really good - great food and great atmosphere - highly recommended.
