Peregrine
Heathcote b. 1973
Peregrine Heathcote
is a hugely talented artist who started his classical training at the
Heatherly School of Art, Chelsea at the age of 12. He then went on to
Stonyhurst and Harrow and completed his classical training at the Fine
Art Academy, Florence where he studied and practised the techniques of
the Old Masters.
Peregrine’s professional career as
a portrait artist started in 1995, during which time he has completed
over 100 commissions including: Prince Jeffrey of Brunei, The Duke of
St. Albans, The Earl of Bradford, The Countess of Effingham, Lord
Selsdon, Cardinal Cormack Murphy O’Connor, Cilla Black, Julian Fellowes
and many more interesting people.
Although only in
his early 30’s, Peregrine’s work is highly sought after due to the
great maturity he has already achieved in his work: his handling of
paint with such skill and expertise result
in paintings of great depth and
beauty.
Peregrine is primarily known for his
portraits, but over the last three or four years his Realism paintings
have also developed quite a following with his ability to
communicate to the viewer and transport them to another
place.
